Llandybie CP School - March 2016

Although we were all disappointed that Wales lost to England in the rugby, it didn't stop us from enjoying a very pleasant rally at Llandybie school. A new venue for us, luckily the weather was mild and dry with some nice sunshine. Plenty of hard standing for parking with lovely views across the valley and a nice warm hall.

John, our DJ supplied us with nice background music for our two nights of just socialising with friends. Most of us were really impressed when we had a stroll through a very long corridor jam packed with displays made by the primary school children showing the wide variety of their lessons. One painting of Katherine of Aragon would have done Picasso proud!! Even out in the play area – a greenhouse made from pop bottles was worth a visit and a photo shot.

Our thanks to hosts Jeff and Joan who made us all welcome.
